|Training and Certification
After training and certification through The Etiquette Institute, the in-house etiquette consultant can address the needs of employees, enhance sales training and orientation programs for new hires, bring the seasoned executive up to date on the changing nuances of business etiquette, as well as circumvent the flaws that could be fatal to a key player.
Most individuals who apply for training have the desire to have their own consulting business whether it be to teach children or adults. Etiquette consulting is fun and profitable. It is a great opportunity for a stay-at-home parent, an entrepreneur, a retiree or someone looking for a fulfilling career change.
Many universities and colleges are finding it cost effective to have a career services professional or faculty member trained and certified. Having someone on staff to give presentations, dining tutorials and the opportunity to work with students in order go give them the competitive edge they will need as they enter the work place.
Students aren't used to face to face interactions, which affects students' knowledge of professional etiquette. This generation has hundreds of social media "friends" but has difficulty communicating in person.
The certification course consists of two days of intense, but fun training. Included on the first day are lunch and a seven course fine dining tutorial that evening. The second day includes the final business etiquette training, lunch and training for the children's programs.
Each newly certified etiquette consultant leaves with a certification from The Etiquette Institute which gives immediate credibility. In addition all consultants become lifetime members of The Etiquette Institute.
Topics include, but are not limited to - verbal communication, visual communication and social business etiquette.
There are no restricted territories, contracts to sign or residuals to The Etiquette Institute or to Maria Everding. Etiquette consultants may use the information give to them by The Etiquette Institute to develop their own programs.
All training and certification classes are held on Saturday and Sunday. The remaining training dates for 2013 are as follows:
